Parent Council Meeting 3rd Sept 2024

With traditional fundraising opportunities limited, we wanted to provide a way that Parents and Carers can continue to support our local school to help them make a difference in our children's lives.
Parent Council Activity
Your ongoing support allows the Parent Council to raise funds for annual events/needs and equipment for our children, here are some examples:
- Christmas Discos for all classes (partial funding)
- Sport equipment
- Easter Eggs and Easter Competition for all pupils
- Communion Gifts for P4 children
- P7 Leaver’s Disco
- P7 Leaver’s Hoodies
- Sport Day
- School Trips (partial funding)
- Library Update
- Cycle Proficiency
- Outdoor Picnic Tables
- Cash donations to all classes for craft material
The Parent Council has been involved in many practical ways, as well as in the important field of fund-raising. The main fundraising events/activities over the last few years have been:
- Halloween Family Party
- Family Nights
- Ladies’ Nights
- Race Nights
- Summer Fair
- Class Calendars
- Spree Book Commission
- Commission from "National Schoolwear", Glasgow
- Hamper Raffles
- Bag Pack
