Breakfast Club

GLASGOW`S BIG BREAKFAST CLUB

The Big Breakfast is a service open to all pupils and offers cereal, milk, toast, fruit juice, yoghurt and porridge. In addition, twice a week cheese will also be on offer.

If your child receives free school meals they are also entitled to a free breakfast. Otherwise the cost is 50p.

If your child requires special dietary or medical needs and intends to attend the breakfast service please contact 0141-353 9237 so suitable arrangements can be made.

The Big Breakfast is a great start to the day by providing food in a relaxed atmosphere where pupils can meet friends under supervision, prior to start of school.

Details regarding the timing for the service are as follows:

Service starts: 8.00 am Any pupils arriving prior to this time will be in the playground unsupervised.

Breakfast is served: 8.00 am - 8.45 am to pupils who arrive during these times and go to the dining hall, register attendance and eat breakfast under adult supervision.

Access to playground: 8.45 am - 9.00 am. Pupils have the option to leave the dining hall and go to the playground and mix with pupils who have not attended the breakfast service. The adult supervision element is reduced at this stage to a patrol function performed by the Janitor.
