Pupil Council
St. Fillan’s Pupil Council was founded in May 1999.
What do the Pupil Council do?
- The Pupil Council are the voice of the pupils in the school.
- They present the pupils’ view of the school to the head teacher, teachers and parents.
- They are involved in any decisions about the school.
- They have the responsibility of ensuring that good behaviour and a friendly attitude prevails within the school and the playground.
- They make suggestions for fundraising and for school improvements.
Each year representatives from Primaries 3-7 are elected by secret ballot to form a Pupil Council.
